Through triathlon and running, we’ve come to realize something.
We all want to feel comfortable, yet training constantly places us in uncomfortable spaces — when our breath gets heavy, our legs feel weighed down, and we feel like giving up.
Perhaps that is exactly where we begin to grow stronger.
Rather than “conquering” discomfort, it’s about learning to stay — not running away, but allowing ourselves to remain in that space. As those moments accumulate, we find that not only in training, but also in life, we’re able to face discomfort with a little more calm than before.
Growth doesn’t seem to begin in comfort, but somewhere slightly beyond it — in places that feel challenging.
At the same time, there’s something just as important:
Pushing harder isn’t always the answer.
We try not to forget that proper rest is also part of training.
To everyone quietly putting in the work in their own way today – Johnber Sports is cheering for you.
